About forensic handwriting & signature services

I am Neha Phatak Rakshas, a certified handwriting expert, certified forensic graphologist and founder of Inside Ink Graphology Solutions. My practice focuses on handwriting and signature forgery detection, comparison, and authentication for disputed documents.

Documents become disputed when signatures or handwriting on a questioned document do not match known specimens from the person in question — often indicating unauthorized forgery or alteration. I work with attorneys, law firms, corporations, insurance companies, and private clients globally to identify differences, forgeries, or similarities between questioned and admitted writing samples.

Each case receives a detailed official report with company stamp and signature, prepared to support legal proceedings. In US federal courts, expert testimony and handwriting authentication are commonly addressed under the Federal Rules of Evidence — including Rule 702 (expert testimony) and Rule 901 (authentication, including handwriting identification). State courts may apply similar standards.

FAQ

Common questions

What is forensic handwriting analysis?
Forensic handwriting analysis (also called forensic document examination) is the scientific comparison of questioned handwriting or signatures against known specimens to determine authorship, detect forgery, or authenticate documents. It uses established methods to examine stroke patterns, pressure, spacing, letter formations, and other features — distinct from personality-focused graphology.
What documents do I need to submit?
Two sets of materials: (1) questioned documents — clear machine scans of the disputed signatures or handwriting; and (2) known specimens — at least three documents with the admitted signatures or handwriting of the person in question, dated close to the time of the disputed writing when possible. Originals are preferred; high-quality copies can often be examined subject to verification.
Can US clients use this service remotely?
Yes. The entire process — document submission, analysis, discussion, and report delivery — is conducted remotely for clients in the United States and worldwide. Submit materials securely via email or WhatsApp; receive a detailed stamped report suitable for sharing with your attorney.
What is the typical turnaround time?
Preliminary analysis and evaluation typically take approximately 5 business days after all required documents are received. The official stamped report is typically completed within approximately 7 business days following your approval of the draft findings. Complex cases may require additional time — you will be advised upfront.
What types of cases do you handle?
Wills and estates, contracts and agreements, insurance claims, employment disputes, fraud and forgery investigations, suicide notes and threat letters, cheque and bank document disputes, impersonation cases, and other civil or criminal matters involving questioned handwriting or signatures.
How much does forensic examination cost?
Fees depend on the number of documents, complexity of comparison, and urgency. Contact me via the form below, WhatsApp, or email with a brief case description for a custom quote. Initial case review inquiries are welcome.
